Job Description: The Embassy Hotel in Great Yarmouth is seeking a talented and experienced Chef / Curry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef / Curry Chef, you will be responsible for planning menus, preparing food including curries and pizzas, overseeing food preparations, and ensuring high quality dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
• Plan menus, considering dietary requirements, guest preferences, and seasonal ingredients.
• Prepare food, including curries and pizzas, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Oversee food preparations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the required standards and within designated timeframes.
• Purchase and examine foodstuffs from suppliers to ensure quality and freshness. • Prepare, season, and cook foodstuffs, monitoring the quality of finished dishes.
• Supervise, organize, and instruct kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth operation and efficient workflow.
• Manage the entire kitchen, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant hygiene and food safety requirements, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine recipes and cooking techniques. • Handle any customer complaints or concerns related to food quality or preparation. Skills:

• Minimum salary offered: £27,700 per annum.

Job Description: The Embassy Hotel in Great Yarmouth is seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bar area, ordering alcohol supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient
service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bar management, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to provide a pleasant and memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the bar area, including ordering alcohol supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Liaise with supply chains to ensure timely and efficient delivery of alcoholic beverages and related products.
• Purchase supplies or direct the purchasing process, while arranging for the preparation of accounts and managing the budget.
• Ensure proper utilization and accounting of supplies to prevent waste and loss, while maintaining budget limits.
• Decide on the range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided in the bar area.
• Collaborate with other staff to plan and arrange food and drink preparation and organize the provision of waiting or counter staff.
• Determine short-term and long-term staffing, financial, material, and other requirements for the bar area.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
